What to do After a Day of Boating?
Just about everyone comes to Lake of the Ozarks for the sole
purpose of getting into the lake. Boating, tubing, skiing, wake boarding and
swimming are at the top of the to-do list for many visitors. But what about at
the end of a full day boating?
Ozark Yacht Club is one of the best places to stay at the Lake of the Ozarks. Our yacht club is one where you can not only boat, but you can also create memories of fun-filled activities and adventures with
friends and family.
Fun OYC Activities
New to Ozark Yacht Club is our Crooked Mile Hiking Trail. This trail
takes you around the entire club, with amazing views of the lake and stops
along the way for fun activities. On your hike, stop by our beach pavilion for
a competitive game of chess or volleyball! Our sand volleyball court has
provided numerous hours of fun for members and guests. Also new is our
life-sized chess set sure to provide fun for the whole family.
But, if chess and volleyball are not your strong suit, just walk
a little past our private Princess Beach and Golden Pond with Victoria Falls to
find our new mini soccer field in the OYC meadow. As soon as the sun goes down,
you can also enjoy a bon fire in the pavilion with chocolate, marshmallows, and
graham crackers for that perfect summer treat… S-mores!
For those days when the rain just won’t stop, visit the
fitness center on Dock W. The perfectly controlled temperature makes it perfect
no matter the weather. Our fitness center has treadmills, elliptical trainers
and weight sets. Not to mention, you can also watch your favorite show on the large
screen TV for an even more enjoyable workout.
The Soccer Field
New this year, we have revamped The OYC Meadow! Near our lakefront
rental homes, we have created a half acre horseshoe-shaped mini soccer field
with one goal. Practice soccer, play an
old-fashioned game of tag, or catch lightning bugs in this beautiful grassy area
surrounded by a forest of shade trees.
Convenient Fuel Dock
The Ozark Yacht Club Fuel Dock is now open for the season!
We are here to fill up your boat with Octane or Diesel. Pump out services are
also available. We are open every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On the Friday
of Memorial Day weekend, we will extend our hours to 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
When you fill up with gas at Ozark Yacht Club, you will also receive a
$10 OYC gift card for every 50 gallons of gas you purchase. Talk about a deal!
Your OYC gift card can be used for future gas purchases, marine services, meals
at LakeSide Café, and many other OYC services.
Summary of Services
Ozark Yacht Club works hard to offer our members and guests
a premier venue and pristine environment to enjoy water sports and
family-friendly recreation, while also being able to cultivate lasting social
relationships in the tradition of a selective Yacht Club. We have endless amenities
for boaters including slips, dry storage, marine services, boat rentals,
sailing school and cruises, brokerage and sales.
We also have many amenities for you to enjoy while you are
off your boat. At the end of the day, relax in one of our beautiful lakefront
rental homes and dine at LakeSide Café for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Take a swim in our private pool or in the Lake
from our private beach. Enjoy fun activities on the beach pavilion, like sand
volleyball, life-sized chess set, and a fire pit. You can also join our Ozark
Dragon Club, take a hike on our Crooked Mile trail, or visit our waterfront
fitness center.
