The Lake Race is Returning to Bagnell Dam This Year!

There may be snow covering the ground right now, but plans are already being made for this year's Lake of the Ozarks Lake Race at the Bagnell Dam Strip in the city of Lake Ozark. Ozark Yacht Club is so excited about the event being so close to us - and we're sure you're going to love it too! We are located on the Bagnell Dam Strip, which puts us in the perfect position to enjoy the races with incredible convenience and comfort. The Lake of the Ozarks is full of great things to do and enjoy. Ozark Yacht Club has the best lodging available. Our cabins are spacious, beautiful, and comfortable with great views of the Lake and access to all of the club's incredible amenities. The Lake Race on the Bagnell Dam Strip


The race is scheduled for June 3rd-5th this year. It has been announced that the race is returning to the Bagnell Dam Strip after being held at Camden on the Lake for a couple of years. The return of the race to Bagnell Dam comes as a result of the purchase of the restaurant formerly known as Beaver's. The new owner has put up the finances to bring the Offshore Powerboat Association there! 

There are plans to have two golf carts that can accommodate 14 people each to shuttle people to and from the church, Christ the King Lutheran, to Bagnell Dam. "The Strip Express" bus is also expected to return and be a part of the boat race weekend to help transport people from local lodging to the Bagnell Dam Strip.
