This June the Lake of the Ozarks Lake Race is going to be in Lake Ozark, right off the Bagnell Dam Strip! Have you made your plans and booked your accommodations yet? The Lake Race on the Bagnell Dam Strip


The race is scheduled for June 3rd-5th this year. It has been announced that the race is returning to the Bagnell Dam Strip after being held at Camden on the Lake for a couple of years. The return of the race to Bagnell Dam comes as a result of the purchase of the restaurant formerly known as Beaver's. The new owner has put up the finances to bring the Offshore Powerboat Association there! 

Here is the Lake Race schedule, from LakeExpo.com: 
  • June 3: Racers Reception at Camden on the Lake Boardwalk from 5 - 8 p.m. Silent auction, appetizers, cash bar. Open to the public.
  • June 4: Lake Race Street Party on the Bagnell Dam Strip from Neon Taco to Tucker's Shuckers from 4 - 10 p.m. Open to the public.
  • June 5: Race Day begins at 10:30 a.m. at Neon Taco, Bagnell Dam, 0-4MM by water. Awards Ceremony at H. Toads from 7 - 8:30 p.m.

There are also plans to have two golf carts that can accommodate 14 people each to shuttle people to and from the church, Christ the King Lutheran, to Bagnell Dam. "The Strip Express" bus is also expected to return and be a part of the boat race weekend to help transport people from local lodging to the Bagnell Dam Strip.
