Make plans to attend the 39th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade, and when the celebrations are over plan to stay with us. It's sure to be a fun time for everyone celebrating out on the Bagnell Dam strip. Big Thunder Marine at Ozark Yacht Club will be right there in the middle of the action and we're the perfect place to stay when you're ready to call it a night. You don't want to miss out on this fun annual tradition at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Lake of the Ozarks St. Patrick's Day Parade

The parade is sponsored by Benne Media and is scheduled for Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The parade starts at 1:00pm and will be traveling down the Bagnell Dam strip located in Lake Ozark, MO. Grab your friends and family, and dress up in your most festive green attire and get ready for a good time! It might be a good idea to grab some lawn chairs as well to make for a comfortable spot to sit. 

Once you're there be ready for some family fun watching the various floats cruise down the strip. This year's line up will include floats, cars, motorcycles and even boats! The little ones might be able to score some candy as well if they're lucky! 

As you make your way to the parade use caution driving to your destination. The road will be shut down at 12:45pm and re-open around 3:00pm. You'll be able to exit or enter Hwy H.H. by using Hwy 242 and traffic will be let through the gaps in the parade. We recommend arriving early to get a good seat. 

St. Patrick's Day Lodging 

When the parade is over and you're ready to call it a day, Big Thunder Marine at Ozark Yacht Club has accommodations nearby making it a super convenient choice! Unofficial Start to Spring 

Many consider St. Patrick's Day to be the unofficial start of the spring season at the Lake of the Ozarks. It signals the reopening of many businesses, boats being de-winterized, and more traffic coming back to the lake area.
