If you're thinking about trying your luck, grab your gear and head to the lake for a weekend of fun and fishing competition. The Lake of the Ozarks is known for being a premiere fishing destination in Missouri, and this of course attracts anglers out for big payouts from fishing tournaments. The Spring Bass Bash is one of the largest bass tournaments in the nation and is one you won't want to miss! Spring Bass Bash
Get ready to win some huge prizes. The Spring Bash Bass is slated for the weekend of April 15th through April 16th. This tournament strives to give the "weekend angler" a chance to win BIG cash prizes. Over $325,000 in cash and prizes will be paid out over this two day tournament. This includes a whopping $100,000 in cash to the angler who catches the biggest bass of the tournament! There will be a lot of winners with a total of 360 bi-hourly pay outs totaling over $142,000.

Second Place Overall $20,000
Third Place Overall $10,000
Fourth Place Overall $5,000
Entry Fee is $140 per angler for one day or $190 for two days. To enter participants can enter online, mail in their registration or register in person. You'll also have a chance to win a new phoenix bass boat! Each paid entry into the event (excluding the kid's division) gets one entry into a drawing to win a 2023 Phoenix 818 with a Mercury 150 Pro XS retailing for $40,000. The drawing will be held at the awards ceremony on Sunday, April 16th at the Grand Glaize State Park (PB2). Full details and information on the Spring Bass Bash can be found on their website.
Lodging
If you need a place to stay during the tournament weekend Big Thunder Marine at Ozark Yacht Club has amazing rental homes with plenty of space for the family or all of your fishing buddies. We have 6 lake front homes that will be sure to keep you well rested after a long day out on the lake. Our properties can sleep 1-24 guests. There's plenty of room if the family wants to come cheer you on, or if you plan to stay with a group of anglers. Each home offers a spectacular view of the lake and offers a variety of bedroom configurations. We are located at the 1-MM in beautiful Jennings Branch Cover and are easily accessible by land or water. We are only two miles from Highway 54 near the historic Bagnell Dam. We are also the closest marina to St. Louis and Kanas City at the Lake of the Ozarks!
Gas Dock & Storage Slips
If you need to grab some gas during the tournament our gas docks will be opening this weekend with limited hours. Both our OYC location and our Glencove location will have limited hours through April. The fuel dock is centrally located within the marina and is a great place to gas up and grab a few snacks. We offer regular fuel and diesel fuel, as well as pump-out services.
If you'd like to store your boat with us, we still have a few boat storage slips available for annual leasing! We offer a variety of slips ranging in size from 12×28 to 20×64, with the convenience of electricity, water, satellite TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi at each slip.
